DigitDropGrid
DigitDropGrid is an offline number-drop puzzle where you sink numbered pearls into a reef grid and chain bursts to clear it. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
DigitDropGrid does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
Information we collect
None. There is no account, sign-in or registration. The only thing you can type into the game is an optional display name for your diver profile, and it never leaves your device.
Data stored on your device
To make the app work, DigitDropGrid stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:
- Your diver profile: the display name you choose (defaults to "Diver") and the avatar you picked.
- Level progress: which levels are cleared, your best scores and star ratings, and a paused run so you can resume it.
- In-game coin balance, daily-reward streak and the boost upgrades you have bought with those coins. Coins are virtual and cannot be bought with real money.
- Achievement progress and which story chapters you have already seen.
- Settings: colour-blind pearl tints, reduced motion and large digits, plus whether you have finished the intro tutorial.
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to DigitDropGrid or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.
Permissions
The release app requests no runtime permissions. It does not ask for camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, storage or notifications, and the shipped Android manifest does not even declare internet access.
Network use
DigitDropGrid works fully offline. It makes no network requests of any kind, so nothing you do in the game is uploaded, synced or logged on a server.
Third-party services
No third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or payment SDKs are integrated. The app is built with Flutter and stores its data with the open-source Hive database, which runs entirely on your device.
Children's privacy
Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). It contains no ads, chat or purchases, so it does not expose younger players to third parties.
Your rights
All data lives in the app's private storage on your phone. You can wipe it at any time from Android Settings → Apps → DigitDropGrid → Storage → Clear storage, or simply by uninstalling the game. Since we hold no copy, there is nothing on our side to request, export or delete.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
